Vision-Casting for 2025: Strategic Partnerships to Transform Philanthropy and Nonprofits.

In 2025, Idaho Partners for Good (IP4G) will focus on six pillars to transform philanthropy and nonprofits.

At the heart of this strategy is a bold focus on strategic partnerships with corporate and family foundations, individual donors, and others who seek to maximize the impact of their giving. Together, we aim to build a state where investments solve problems at their root.

Our Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG): Give Better, Get Better. In 10 years IP4G will have transformed giving through education and proven strategies. Idaho givers know how to leverage their investments for maximum community impact, which starts to solve problems instead of kicking them down the road. Additionally, IP4G will give $10 million in grants, matched with capacity-building resources by pro bono experts, so every nonprofit systems leader in Idaho has the support they need to measurably improve their communities.

Six Pillars Fueling Our BHAG

1. Impact on Donors Strategy: Empower donors to maximize their impact by aligning their Time, Talent, and Treasure with meaningful outcomes through IP4G’s engaged philanthropy model. By offering tailored opportunities for involvement and education, IP4G ensures donors feel confident their investments address root problems effectively. This approach starts with our Strategic Charitable Giving 101 Workshop which is designed to foster a deeper connection between donors and the causes they support, enhancing both engagement and impact.

2. New Impact Model Strategy:  Build a culture of impact by equipping nonprofit systems leaders with funding, tools and resources to embed operational excellence, enabling them to scale their efforts sustainably. This approach ensures that nonprofits can address complex challenges and deliver measurable results, creating a stronger sector overall.

3. Visibility and Leadership Strategy: Strengthen IP4G’s influence and credibility to ensure widespread acceptance of our model within the philanthropic sector. By leading with systems thinking, a commitment to equity, and readiness to address emerging needs, IP4G will inspire greater support and adoption of our innovative approach.

4. Impact on Nonprofits Strategy: We have to evaluate and provide nonprofits with tailored tools, coaching, and strategies to enhance their operational capacity. Evaluation support empowers them to deliver sustainable, high-quality services that meet community needs while achieving long-term organizational health and growth.

5. Impact on Community Strategy: Create multi-generational and multi-sector pathways for collaboration that drive collective good. By fostering strategic partnerships across industries and generations, IP4G ensures that Idaho’s communities can effectively tackle persistent challenges and build a brighter future.

6. Ops & Infrastructure Strategy: Develop a robust infrastructure that attracts and retains experts and leaders, enhances transparency, and positions IP4G as an organization that leads by example! Investments in technology, systems, and talent will enable us to scale our impact and inspire others to emulate our approach.

2025: Why Strategic Partnerships Matter

Strategic partnerships amplify resources, scale programs, and align efforts across sectors. Collaborating with foundations, donors, and stakeholders ensures nonprofits and communities thrive. Recently, there have been great examples of one form of strategic partnering - mergers
